Tampa Bay Rays right-hander Jeremy Hellickson has struck out four batters in the same inning.

The rookie became the first Rays pitcher to accomplish the feat during the third inning of Thursday's game against Detroit.

Austin Jackson reached base to start the inning on a third-strike wild pitch. Hellickson then struck out Ramon Santiago, Delmon Young and Victor Martinez.
