Milwaukee Brewers third baseman Casey McGehee was ejected for arguing a called third strike that ended the fourth inning Wednesday night against St. Louis.

With runners on first and second, McGehee was called out on a pitch on the outside corner by home plate umpire D.J. Reyburn. McGehee turned and slammed his bat on the ground in the direction of Reyburn, and was ejected immediately.

He was replaced in the lineup by Craig Counsell.
