QB Jeff Lockie says that practice is 'probably the best medicine' for Oregon after 62-20 loss

Following Oregon's 62-20 loss to Utah, it would have been reasonable to expect some sort of hangover effect from the defeat. However, head coach Mark Helfrich said Oregon's response to the loss has been good so far.

“So far, so good,” Helfrich said Monday. “So far, really good.”

QB Jeff Lockie said that getting back out to practice and playing football again was probably just what the Ducks needed.

“Any time you get back out to practice, that’s probably the best medicine,” Lockie said.

QB Vernon Adams Jr., who was pulled in the second quarter of Oregon's loss, reiterated Lockie's thoughts and said that the team came out with a positive attitude.

“We came out with a positive attitude, a positive mindset,” Adams said. “We’re playing for each other. We’re getting back to Oregon football – playing fast, having fun.”
