Oregon Ducks Royce Freeman Could Breakout Against Arizona State
The Oregon Ducks Running Game looks to get a healthy Royce Freeman on the field against Arizona State.

Running Back Royce Freeman has missed some time this season against Colorado and Nebraska and he did not seem like himself last weekend in the Double Overtime loss against the California Golden Bears. Freeman spent a good part of last weekend being stopped at or behind the line of scrimmage racking up 10 yards on 15 attempts. It is not known if he is playing with a nagging injury that won’t keep him off the field, but I suspect this may be the case.
The Running Game has been one of the strong points for the Oregon Ducks this season with Tony Brooks-James taking over the lead back spot for Freeman. Kani Benoit and Taj Griffin have allowed for a change of pace and speed for the Oregon Ducks attack on the ground. There is good news this week.
According to Offensive Coordinator Matt Lubick, Freeman appears to be closer to himself, “Royce is a lot healthier this week than he was last week.” He will be needed to make a dent. Arizona State brings the best Rush Defense in the Pac-12 Conference into Autzen giving up just under 100 yards per game.
The Oregon Ducks and Arizona State Sundevils kickoff on Saturday at 2pm Pacific Time on Pac-12 Network.
