Matt Hegarty named to Rimington Trophy watch list

Oregon's newest addition, center Matt Hegarty, has been named to the Rimington Trophy watch list. The Rimington Trophy is awarded annually the the nations best center.

Hegarty is a graduate transfer from Notre Dame, meaning this will be his only season with the Oregon Ducks.

Hegarty, who is 6'4", 295 pounds, played tackled, guard and center at Notre Dame during his career there. He is expected to be Oregon's starting center in 2015.
