After 8-5 season, Sooners seeking playmakers to step up in 2015

The quarterback is everything in football and so obviously the winner of the four-man competition for the starting job will have to perform at a high level if Oklahoma is to have a chance to contend for the Big 12 title.

But quarterback isn't the only position where the Sooners, coming off a disappointing 8-5 season, need someone to step up.

At least five other positions, including both spots in the defensive backfield are crying out for playmakers to take center stage.
