The Florida Panthers start their quest to win their third straight Stanley Cup. They face the Chicago Blackhawks in the first game of the tripleheader.

A Metropolitan Division matchup continues the opening night action. The Pittsburgh Penguins face off against the New York Rangers in Madison Square Garden.

Two teams from last season's playoffs end today's triple-header, as the Los Angeles Kings face off against the Colorado Avalanche.
