PLAYER NEWS

Felix Agu
Agu could be facing another spell on the sidelines after suffering a suspected muscular issue in Werder Bremen's friendly against FC Twente, with coach Daniel Thioune saying, per Deich Stube. "I received a signal from him shortly before halftime that he is no longer able to continue playing. I still need to find out everything else, but it doesn't look so good. I think it's muscular things that have reappeared. It was not a planned change. Ideally, we would have gotten Felix until halftime, but he was no longer able to continue playing at that point."
Senne Lynen
Lynen (pelvis) has yet to join team training but has been using the international break to further his recovery, according to sports managing director Clemens Fritz, per Daniel Cottaus of Deich Stube. "Senne is on the right track and is using the international break to take further steps. With his quality and experience, he is very important to us. When he is fit again, he will play a good role."
Julian Ryerson
Ryerson has ended his duty with Norway early due to rib problems, and will not play for the national team again this window, returning to Dortmund sooner than planned, according to Norway coach Stale Solbakken, per Aftenposten.
Serhou Guirassy
Guirassy scored the game-winning goal in Thursday's 2027 AFCON qualifying match against Kenya.
