Kevin Lankinen - Tending twine in Montreal Lankinen will be between the road pipes versus the Canadiens, per Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650.

Impact Lankinen will make his 27th appearance of the season Monday -- the 29-year-old is sporting a 15-7-4 record, .908 save percentage and 2.54 GAA. Montreal is tied for 19th in the NHL with 2.95 goals per game. While their record is nothing to write home about, the Canadiens have played very well lately, going 4-1-0 in their last five games.

Quinn Hughes - Suiting up Monday Hughes (undisclosed) took the ice for the pregame skate, indicating he'll be in the lineup Monday in Montreal, Thomas Drance of The Athletic reports.

Impact Hughes will avoid missing his fifth consecutive game, and it comes at the right time as the Canucks are kicking off a five-game road trip Monday. The all-world blueliner will occupy his usual spot on the top pairing in addition to quarterbacking the No. 1 power-play unit. Impact Although Demko is traveling with the Canucks as they begin their road trip, it appears as though he'll be forced to miss at least one more game. Head coach Rick Tocchet said after Monday's morning skate that he doesn't think Demko will play unless "he feels great," so the goaltender's next opportunity to return will presumably be Wednesday in Washington.

He has amassed eight goals and 42 points through 34 appearances this season. If Hughes receives the green light to play against the Canadiens, Guillaume Brisebois could come out of the lineup.

Jonathan Lekkerimaki - Recalled by Vancouver Lekkerimaki was recalled from AHL Abbotsford on an emergency basis Monday.

Impact Lekkerimaki made five appearances for the Canucks in mid-November and recorded a goal, four hits, two PIM and a minus-4 rating while averaging 14:48 of ice time. He'll rejoin the NHL club and could see some playing time in the near future since Elias Pettersson (undisclosed) and Dakota Joshua (leg) are both on injured reserve.
