Impact Di Giuseppe's role should remain fairly steady following Friday's trades, as the Canucks maintained the same number of NHL-level forwards. That said, the quality of the team's forward group is a little lower, so Di Giuseppe may have an easier time staying in the lineup. He has six points, 23 shots on net, 54 hits and a minus-2 rating over 20 appearances and will likely be a bottom-six option at least until Kiefer Sherwood (undisclosed) is activated from injured reserve.

Carson Soucy - Scores in garbage time Soucy scored a goal on four shots in Friday's 5-3 loss to the Stars.
Impact Soucy ended a 22-game goal drought, a span in which he had just three assists and a minus-11 rating. Soucy has largely played in a bottom-four role this season, but it's unclear if he'll still be an every-game player after the Canucks' trades Friday swapped out Vincent Desharnais for a much better player in Marcus Pettersson. Soucy is likely to be competing with Derek Forbort for a spot on the third pairing, though if one of them can play on their offhand side, Noah Juulsen could instead exit the lineup. With eight points and a minus-15 rating, Soucy's already a shaky fantasy option anyway outside of formats that reward his physicality (42 PIM, 76 hits, 83 blocked shots), and that becomes more true with uncertainty in playing time ahead.

Jake DeBrusk - Mixed results Friday DeBrusk scored a power-play goal on four shots, added three hits and went minus-4 in Friday's 5-3 loss to the Stars.
Impact In the aftermath of the J.T. Miller trade, DeBrusk landed on the top line with Brock Boeser and Elias Pettersson. DeBrusk was able to score late in the third period, but it was an otherwise ugly performance for the winger. He had just four points and a minus-8 rating over 15 contests in January. For the season, the 28-year-old is at 18 goals, 31 points (11 on the power play), 102 shots on net, 75 hits and a minus-8 rating across 51 appearances. He'll need to be steadier on offense to have widespread fantasy appeal, but he's in a good position as long as he stays on the top line.
