Thatcher Demko - Guarding goal Thursday Demko will start in Thursday's road game versus the Sharks, Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650 reports.
Impact Demko gets the nod in his home state of California. He's started to turn things around recently, going 2-1-0 with just four goals allowed over his last three appearances. The 29-year-old has a favorable matchup Thursday, as the Sharks have scored have scored just nine goals over their last four games.

Quinn Hughes - Might be available for Saturday Hughes (lower body) has already been ruled out for Thursday's tilt against San Jose, but he might play Saturday versus Toronto, per Iain MacIntyre of Sportsnet.
Impact Hughes will miss his fourth consecutive game Thursday. The 25-year-old defenseman has 14 goals and 59 points in 47 outings in 2024-25. If Hughes does play Saturday, he will probably resume his regular duties on the top pairing and first power-play unit.

Marcus Pettersson - Sticking around in Vancouver Pettersson signed a six-year, $33 million contract extension with the Canucks on Wednesday.
Impact Pettersson was acquired via trade with the Penguins last Friday, and it took the Canucks little time to get him a new deal. This new contract will take him through his age-34 campaign. Pettersson hasn't recorded a point for his new team, but he's at 18 points, 46 shots on net, 60 hits, 86 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating over 49 appearances this season. He should be a top-four fixture in Vancouver for years to come.
