Impact With the news of Charlie McAvoy being ruled out for Thursday's game with an upper-body injury, the Americans were allowed to add Hughes to their roster. While his presence should be a boost for his teammates, Hughes will not be eligible to play unless the team endures another injury, according to Friedman.

Impact Aman has accounted for two helpers, three shots on goal, 10 hits and a minus-3 rating over seven appearances with the Canucks this season. Now that he's back in the NHL, he'll likely be competing with Arshdeep Bains, who was also recalled Tuesday, for regular playing time.

Impact Along with Bains, the Canucks also brought up Nils Aman, setting the duo up to compete for one spot in the lineup ahead of Saturday's clash with Vegas. Considering Vancouver is heading out on a five-game road trip, both forwards should get an opportunity to play. In his 11 NHL contests this season, Bains has tallied one goal, seven shots and 16 hits while logging 10:56 of ice time per game.

Arturs Silovs - Brought up Tuesday Silovs was summoned from AHL Abbotsford on Tuesday, per Jeff Paterson of CanucksArmy.com.
Impact With Kevin Lankinen getting a few days of rest after participating in the 4 Nations Face-Off, Silovs was brought up to the big club. Silovs will presumably be sent back down once Lankinen is back up to speed with the Canucks. Silovs has a 1-4-1 record, .847 save percentage and 4.11 GAA through seven appearances in the NHL this season.

Elias Pettersson - Added to NHL roster Pettersson was promoted from AHL Abbotsford on Tuesday, per Jeff Paterson of CanucksArmy.com.
Impact Pettersson will be hard-pressed to get into the lineup against Vegas on Saturday even if Quinn Hughes (oblique) is cleared to play. As such, fantasy players are unlikely to be impacted by Pettersson's promotion. When he has gotten into action, the 21-year-old Swede has recorded one assist, six shots and 12 hits while averaging 12:50 of ice time.

Kevin Lankinen - Pulled in loss to Canada Lankinen allowed four goals on 13 shots before he was pulled at the 5:03 mark of the second period of Finland's 5-3 loss to Canada at the 4 Nations Face-Off on Monday.
Impact Team Canada had dominated the first period, with Finland surrendering multiple rush chances. Lankinen didn't have much of a chance. He was relieved by Juuse Saros. Lankinen will take a few days before returning to Vancouver. He will be a valuable fantasy play to finish the season and going forward, as starter Thatcher Demko (lower body) continues to show real fragility.
