Kevin Lankinen - In goal again Wednesday Lankinen will protect the road goal versus the Flames on Wednesday, Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650 reports.
Impact Lankinen took a second consecutive loss in Tuesday's 4-2 defeat against the Canadiens. However, the Canucks are trying to keep pace in the playoff race, and Lankinen gives them a better chance to win than Arturs Silovs. The 29-year-old Lankinen is 3-4-0 with a 2.59 GAA and a .901 save percentage over his last seven outings, and he has a favorable matchup against the Flames' pedestrian offense.

Quinn Hughes - Set to return Wednesday Hughes (undisclosed) will be in the lineup Wednesday versus the Flames, Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650 reports.
Impact Hughes will return from a four-game absence due to this injury. He's been banged up for the better part of six weeks, but the 25-year-old is a huge boost to the Canucks' defense and power play if he can play through any lingering issues. Expect Hughes to log time on the first pairing and top power-play unit in Wednesday's contest.

Marcus Pettersson - Notches assist Tuesday Pettersson provided an assist, two shots on goal, three hits, three blocked shots, two PIM and a minus-2 rating in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Canadiens.
Impact This was Pettersson's second helper over five games in March after he was held off the scoresheet in his first month with the Canucks. The 28-year-old defenseman continues to see heavy minutes in a top-four role, and that's mostly as a shutdown blueliner, which limits his scoring potential. He's at 20 points -- a level he's reached five times in his eight-year career -- while adding 56 shots on net, 67 hits, 104 blocked shots, 39 PIM and a minus-4 rating over 60 appearances between Vancouver and Pittsburgh this season.

Elias Pettersson - Scores PP goal Tuesday Pettersson scored a power-play goal in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to Montreal. He also recorded four shots on goal and a minus-2 rating.
Impact Pettersson found the back of the net midway through the third period to pull the Canucks within one goal of the tie, but that never happened. The 26-year-old has scored twice over his last three games, with both goals coming with the man advantage, and that helped snap a 15-game goalless drought in which he only recorded five assists while taking 21 shots on goal.

Filip Hronek - Scores, assists in loss Hronek recorded an even-strength goal and a power-play assist in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to Montreal.
Impact Hronek has been playing very well of late and has recorded multi-point performances in three of his last four outings, tallying one goal and five assists over that stretch. The 27-year-old blueliner has recorded 24 points this season, with four goals and 20 helpers to his name. He should continue to have opportunities to produce as a member of the team's first power-play unit.

Kevin Lankinen - Second straight defeat Lankinen stopped 23 of 26 shots in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Canadiens. The fourth goal came on an empty-netter with 17 seconds left in the game.
Impact Lankinen was beaten twice in the first period and once more in the second, and now he's dropped three of his last five starts, posting a 2.85 GAA and an .884 save percentage in that stretch. The Canucks play again Wednesday at Calgary, so Lankinen could get the night off in the second leg of a back-to-back set. If that's the case, then Arturs Silovs would likely defend the Canucks' crease.
