Victor Mancini - Garners assist in shootout win
Mancini picked up an assist and four blocked shots in Wednesday's 4-3 shootout win over the Flames.
Impact
Mancini was forced into a larger role after Elias Pettersson (upper body) left Wednesday's contest in the first period. The 22-year-old Mancini saw a career-high 18:32 of ice time while picking up some of the slack, and he was able to deliver the secondary helper on the other Elias Pettersson's third-period goal to tie the game. This gave Mancini five points, 24 shots on net, 28 blocked shots, 19 hits and a minus-2 rating over 20 appearances between the Canucks and the Rangers this season.

Nils Hoglander - Deals helper Wednesday
Hoglander provided an assist, fired six shots on goal and added two hits in Wednesday's 4-3 shootout win over the Flames.
Impact
Hoglander is trending up on offense with a helper in three of his last five games, along with a plus-4 rating in that span. He set up Elias Pettersson for the game-tying tally in the third period Wednesday. Hoglander now has 16 points, 73 shots, 66 hits, 30 PIM and a plus-3 rating over 61 outings this season. If he stays warm, he'll be worth taking look at as a source of points and hits in deep fantasy formats.

Marcus Pettersson - Helpers in consecutive contests
Pettersson notched an assist, two hits and four blocked shots in Wednesday's 4-3 shootout win over the Flames.
Impact
Pettersson played alongside Quinn Hughes at even strength in this contest. The 28-year-old Pettersson has a helper in back-to-back games and three assists over six outings in March. For the season, the shutdown defenseman is at 21 points, 57 shots on net, 69 hits, 108 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating over 61 appearances between the Canucks and the Penguins.

Filip Hronek - Snags helper in shootout win
Hronek notched an assist and blocked four shots in Wednesday's 4-3 shootout win over the Flames.
Impact
Hronek has a goal and six helpers over his last five outings. The defenseman didn't take a cut in ice time with Quinn Hughes back from an undisclosed injury -- Tyler Myers (undisclosed) didn't play and Elias Pettersson (upper body) left the contest early, allowing Hronek to see a season-high 28:07 of ice time. With the helper, Hronek has reached the 25-point mark for the sixth year in a row, doing so in just 44 appearances in 2024-25. He's added 61 shots on net, 67 hits, 58 blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating.

Quinn Hughes - Assist, heavy minutes in return
Hughes logged a power-play assist and two blocked shots in Wednesday's 4-3 shootout win over the Flames.
Impact
Hughes returned from a four-game absence and set up a Jake DeBrusk tally in the second period. If the Canucks were planning on easing Hughes back in, it didn't happen -- he led the team with 29:48 of ice time and had to pick up the slack when Elias Pettersson (upper body) exited the contest after the first period. It's unclear if Hughes is fully healthy or just managing his injury to help the Canucks' playoff push. The 25-year-old defenseman is up to 61 points (23 on the power play), 144 shots on net, 48 blocked shots and a plus-9 rating over 51 appearances.

Pius Suter - Opens scoring Wednesday
Suter scored a goal on three shots in Wednesday's 4-3 shootout win over the Flames.
Impact
Suter ended a four-game goal drought with the opening tally in this contest. During that stretch, he was limited to one assist and five shots on net. The 28-year-old has been bounced around the lineup with head coach Rick Tocchet's line shuffling of late, but Suter was in his usual third-line spot Wednesday. The Swiss forward has reached the 30-point mark for the second time in his career with 17 goals and 13 assists, as well as 98 shots on net and a plus-2 rating, over 64 outings this season.

Jake DeBrusk - Tallies on power play
DeBrusk scored a power-play goal on four shots in Wednesday's 4-3 shootout win over the Flames.
Impact
DeBrusk's last three goals, scored over a span of nine games, have come on the power play. He has no assists in that stretch, which has seen him move around the lineup a bit due to his inconsistency on offense. He was on the top line and first power-play unit Wednesday, but he'll need to build on this performance to stay there. For the season, DeBrusk has 23 goals, 37 points (15 on the power play), 133 shots on net, 85 hits and a minus-13 rating through 65 appearances.

Elias Pettersson - One of each in shootout win
Pettersson scored a goal on two shots and added a power-play assist in Wednesday's 4-3 shootout win over the Flames.
Impact
Pettersson's third-period tally tied the game at 3-3, and he also contributed one of the Canucks' two shootout goals. The 26-year-old center had not recorded multiple points in a game since Dec. 23 versus the Sharks, a contest that he left early due to an undisclosed injury. Pettersson is heating up with three goals and four points over his last four outings, and he's at 14 goals, 39 points (15 on the power play), 106 shots on net, 61 hits, 68 blocked shots and a minus-12 rating over 59 appearances this season.

Kevin Lankinen - Holds firm to earn shootout win
Lankinen stopped 20 of 23 shots in Wednesday's 4-3 shootout win over the Flames.
Impact
Lankinen gave up a pair of goals to Jonathan Huberdeau in the second period, which put the Canucks behind. Elias Pettersson tied the game in the third, and Lankinen held firm, including stopping three of four attempts in the shootout, to secure the win in a game between two teams battling for a playoff spot. The 29-year-old netminder is 3-3-0 after starting six straight games to begin March, and he's allowed three or more goals in four of those contests. For the season, Lankinen sports a 23-12-7 record with a 2.55 GAA and a .904 save percentage through 42 appearances. The Canucks have another back-to-back up next, as they host the Blackhawks on Saturday and Utah on Sunday. It's unclear at this time if Arturs Silovs will be considered to start either of those games.

Elias Pettersson - Won't finish contest
Pettersson (upper body) won't finish Wednesday's game versus the Flames.
Impact
Pettersson took a hit to the back of his head in a scrum in the first period, though he wasn't officially ruled out for the game until the second intermission. With Tyler Myers (undisclosed) out of action Wednesday, the Canucks are facing a situation in which they may need to call up a blueliner for Saturday's game against the Blackhawks depending on the severity of Pettersson's injury.

Tyler Myers - Absent for Wednesday's game
Myers (undisclosed) won't play Wednesday versus the Flames, Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650 reports.
Impact
Myers blocked three shots in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Canadiens, so he may be feeling a little worse for wear. Quinn Hughes (undisclosed) is expected to play Wednesday, while Myers' absence will allow Elias Pettersson to stay in the lineup. The 35-year-old Myers' next chance to play is Saturday versus the Blackhawks, which is the first game of a back-to-back.
