Kevin Lankinen - Facing Blue Jackets Lankinen will patrol the visiting crease in Columbus on Friday, according to Rick Dhaliwal of CHEK.
Impact Lankinen will make his first start in almost a week as he has been dealing with a hip issue. He struggled in his last start Saturday against the Rangers, giving up four goals on 11 shots in a 5-3 loss. Lankinen is 24-14-8 with four shutouts, a 2.59 GAA and a .901 save percentage. He has been the No. 1 goaltender with the Canucks most of the season, but with the return of Thatcher Demko, Lankinen should be considered the backup netminder. The Blue Jackets are averaging 3.14 goals per game, 12th in the league this season.

Impact Blueger hasn't missed a game all season, logging eight goals and 15 helpers in 72 contests while averaging 14:20 of ice time. As a precaution, the Canucks recalled Max Sasson from AHL Abbotsford under emergency conditions. If Blueger were to miss out, Linus Karlsson could shift to his natural center spot on the second line.

Impact Sasson was sent to the minors in late January, but he'll rejoin the Canucks to provide additional depth since Elias Pettersson (undisclosed), Nils Hoglander (undisclosed) and Filip Chytil (concussion) are all sidelined. Over 24 appearances with Vancouver this year, he's recorded two goals, four assists, 14 hits and 13 blocked shots while averaging 10:06 of ice time.
