K.J. Osborn - Inactive Sunday Osborn (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday night's wild-card game versus Tampa Bay.
Impact Osborn will take a seat in the first round of the playoffs and his absence won't carry much of an offensive impact on Washington. The Commanders will lean on the likes of Terry McLaurin and Olamide Zaccheaus at wide receiver against the Buccaneers.
JANUARY 12, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Jamison Crowder - Active versus Tampa Bay Crowder (hamstring) is listed as active for Sunday night's wild-card round game against the Buccaneers.
Impact After being limited at practice this past week, Crowder headed into the Commanders' postseason opener listed as questionable. With his active status confirmed, Crowder will bolster the team's depth at wideout, as well provide a punt return option. However, apart from a 2/15/2 receiving line in Week 16 versus Philadelphia, Crowder's fantasy impact has been modest. Overall, the 31-year-old has recorded nine catches for 72 yards and two TDs on 13 targets in six games.

Chris Rodriguez Jr. - Inactive Sunday Rodriguez (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday night's wild-card game against the Buccaneers.
Impact Rodriguez will be on the sidelines for the first round of the playoffs versus Tampa Bay. Washington will lean on Brian Robinson, Austin Ekeler and Jeremy McNichols at running back in the wild-card round.

Chris Moore - Called upon for wild-card clash The Commanders elevated Moore from their practice squad to their active roster Saturday.
Impact Moore played in five games for Arizona earlier this season, logging 26 offensive snaps without drawing any targets. He was cut from the Cardinals' practice squad in early November and latched on with Washington's practice squad the day after Christmas. He could see his first action with the Commanders on Sunday in the team's wild-card matchup versus Tampa Bay.

Buccaneers vs. Commanders 2024 Wild Card Round Prediction, Odds, Picks - Jan 12
Cornelius Lucas - Set to return for wild-card matchup Lucas (groin) does not have an injury designation for Sunday's wild-card contest versus Tampa Bay.
Impact Lucas suffered a groin injury Week 17 versus the Falcons and didn't play in Week 18 against Dallas. He managed an LP/LP/FP progression during practice this week and is expected to take the field against the Buccaneers. Lucas started in seven of his 14 contests this season but has mostly served in a rotational role.
JANUARY 11, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Tyler Biadasz - Set to return for wild-card contest Biadasz (ankle) does not have an injury designation for Sunday's wild-card game against the Buccaneers.
Impact Biadasz hurt his ankle Week 17 versus Atlanta and didn't play in Washington's regular-season finale against Dallas. He began this week with a pair of limited practices before upgrading to full participation Friday, setting him up to return to the field Sunday in Tampa Bay. Biadasz's ability to suit up will likely send Michael Deiter, who started at center for the Commanders in Week 18, back to a rotational role.
JANUARY 11, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Colson Yankoff - Remaining out for wild-card round Yankoff (hamstring), who is on IR, has been ruled out for Sunday's wild-card matchup versus Tampa Bay.
Impact Yankoff has been on injured reserve since early November due to a hamstring injury. He was designated to return to practice Wednesday but isn't yet ready for game action. When healthy early in the campaign, Yankoff worked primarily on special teams, logging 101 snaps as part of that unit versus just six on offense over six games.
JANUARY 11, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
John Bates - Cleared for wild-card round Bates (shoulder) was limited in practice Friday but does not carry an injury designation for Sunday's road NFC wild-card round matchup against the Buccaneers.
Impact Bates began the week as a full participant in practice, and despite then downgrading to back-to-back limited sessions, he's been cleared to suit up Sunday on the road at Tampa Bay. The depth tight end suited up for all 17 regular-season games with Washington, securing eight of 13 targets for 84 yards.
JANUARY 10, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Frankie Luvu - Cleared to play Sunday Luvu (shoulder) was limited in practice Friday but does not carry an injury designation for Sunday's road NFC wild-card round game against the Buccaneers.
Impact Luvu practiced on a FP-LP-LP basis leading up to wild-card round action, but his shoulder issue won't impact his availability Sunday versus Tampa Bay. The veteran linebacker was nearly an every-down player on defense across 17 regular-season appearances for Washington, across which span he racked up 99 tackles (54 solo) including a career-high 8.0 sacks.
JANUARY 10, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Jamison Crowder - Listed as questionable Crowder (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at Tampa Bay, Jenna Laine of ESPN.com reports.
Impact Crowder was a limited practice participant Wednesday through Friday, after playing 20 snaps without drawing a target in the 23-19 win over Dallas in Week 18. He'll likely work as Washington's fourth or fifth WR if he ends up playing, as he's been stuck behind Terry McLaurin, Olamide Zaccheaus and Dyami Brown. The bigger concern for Washington might be punt returns -- a job Zaccheaus handled for much of the season until Crowder returned from injured reserve for the last three games.

NFL Playoffs Briefing: Case for new seeding system; NFC wild-card games analysis
Frankie Luvu - Still nursing shoulder injury Luvu (shoulder) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.
Impact Luvu injured his shoulder during the Commanders' Week 18 win over the Cowboys. He started the week as a full practice participant Wednesday, so his limited action Thursday could be to mitigate the risk of aggravating the injury. Unless Luvu suffers a setback over the next few days, he should be at full strength for Sunday's wild-card round game against the Buccaneers. Luvu played in all 17 regular-season games and posted 99 tackles (54 solo), including a career-best 8.0 sacks, seven pass defenses (including one interception), two fumble recoveries and one forced fumble.
JANUARY 9, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Jeremy Chinn - Past rib issue Chinn (ribs) was a full participant in Thursday's practice.
Impact Chinn was limited in Wednesday's practice due to a rib injury he likely picked up during the Commanders' Week 18 win over the Cowboys. The issue doesn't appear to be serious for him as he was able to practice without restrictions Thursday. The 2020 second-round pick should be healthy enough to be an every-snap defender in Sunday's NFC wild-card round game against Tampa Bay. Chinn finished the 2024 regular season with 117 tackles (73 solo), including 2.0 sacks, five pass defenses (including one interception), two fumble recoveries and one forced fumble across 17 games.
JANUARY 9, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
John Bates - Working through shoulder issue Bates (shoulder) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.
Impact Bates' limited participation in pracitce could be out of precaution after he logged a full practice Wednesday. Friday's practice report and subsequent injury designation will provide more clarity on Bates' status heading into Sunday's NFC wild-card round game against the Buccaneers. Bates has primarily been used as an extra blocker for the Commanders but managed to log eight catches (on 13 targets) for 84 yards across 17 regular-season games while operating as Zach Ertz's backup.
JANUARY 9, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Jamison Crowder - Another limited practice Crowder (groin) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday.
Impact Crowder has kicked off preparation for the wild-card round with back-to-back capped practices due to a groin injury, leaving him just one more chance to get back to full participation Friday or else risk entering the weekend with a designation ahead Sunday's game at Tampa Bay. Since returning from injured reserve Week 15 at New Orleans, he's had a modest role in the Commanders offense, putting together an 8-67-2 line on 12 targets over the last four contests.
