Impact The running back played on three of 81 offensive snaps Sunday against the Giants, carrying the ball twice for 23 yards, with all 23 yards coming on a single carry. With Antonio Gibson out due to a toe injury, Gore's snap count finished behind Brian Robinson's 63 and Chris Rodriguez's 16. Gore also played a snap on special teams.

Efe Obada - Placed on injured reserve The Commanders placed Obada (lower leg) on injured reserve Monday.

Impact Obada will head to injured reserve after suffering a lower leg fracture during Sunday's loss to the Giants. The 31-year-old underwent surgery Monday and is expected to miss the remainder of season, and in his absence K.J. Henry and Andre Jones should be in line for increased playing time.

Impact Howell continued to take to the air at a prolific rate, as he's now topped 40 pass attempts in five consecutive games. Unlike the last three contests, however, production didn't follow. Instead, Howell averaged only 5.7 yards per attempt and threw multiple picks for the first time since Week 3 -- the final of which was returned for a touchdown to put the game out of reach for the Commanders. Positively, Howell reached the end zone on the ground on a tough seven-yard run, during which he bounced off several defenders. That salvaged an otherwise forgettable performance from a fantasy perspective.
