INJURIES

Jordan Magee - Unlikely for Saturday Head coach Dan Quinn told reporters Monday that Magee (hamstring) is unlikely to play in Saturday's matchup against the Lions, per Ben Standig of The Athletic.
Impact The rookie linebacker from Temple aggravated a hamstring injury that held him out of Washington's last two regular-season games in Sunday night's win over the Buccaneers. As a result, it's no surprise he isn't expected to suit up for the divisional round. If Magee is unable to play Saturday, the Commanders will be down one of their key special teamers, as he's logged 146 special-teams snaps across eight games this season.

Olamide Zaccheaus - Catches three passes for 19 yards Zaccheaus caught each of his three targets for 19 yards in a 23-20 win at Tampa Bay on Sunday.
Impact Zaccheaus finished second among Washington's wide receivers in snap share (68 percent), slightly ahead of Dyami Brown, who took 58 percent of snaps and caught each of his five targets for 89 yards and a touchdown. Zaccheaus out-produced Brown in each of the final three games of the regular season, catching 15 of 22 targets for 206 yards and three touchdowns during that stretch, so both figure to be involved in the offense during Washington's next playoff game Saturday at Detroit.

Austin Ekeler - Takes 11 touches for 53 yards Ekeler took eight carries for 27 yards and caught three of four targets for 26 yards in Sunday's 23-20 win at Tampa Bay.
Impact Ekeler's 11 touches and 47 percent snap share put him slightly behind Brian Robinson, who had 10 carries for 16 yards and four catches for 22 yards (five targets) while playing 53 percent of snaps. Neither RB found much room against a tough Tampa Bay run defense, and they'll now face another one of the NFC's top run-stuffing teams -- at least on paper -- when they head to Detroit in the divisional round. The Lions probably aren't as difficult to run on as many statistics suggest, as they've lost a slew of defenders to season-ending injuries, including DE Aidan Hutchinson (leg) and DT Alim McNeill (knee).

Zach Ertz - Meager output in Sunday's win Ertz had two receptions on four targets for 23 yards in Sunday's 23-20 wild-card round win over the Buccaneers.
Impact Ertz failed to continue the scoring binge he went on in the second half of the regular season, but he still played a vital role in the Commanders advancing to the next round of the playoffs. Both of the veteran tight end's receptions came on successful third- and fourth-down attempts as Washington dominated the time of possession game Sunday. Look for Ertz to remain involved as a key safety valve for Jayden Daniels as the sixth-seeded Commanders visit the No. 1 seed Lions in Saturday's divisional round matchup.

Dyami Brown - Career game in playoff win Brown hauled in all five of his targets for 89 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 23-20 win over Tampa Bay.
Impact Brown got the scoring going for Washington when he brought down a 10-yard touchdown reception in the first quarter of Sunday's wild-card round matchup. The fourth-year man out of North Carolina tacked on 79 more yards in order to finish with his best receiving line in the Commanders' first playoff appearance since drafting the wideout in 2021. Brown may be asked to continue his elevated role in the divisional round if Washington is forced to keep up with Detroit's high-octane offense.

Brian Robinson Jr. - Struggles in tough matchup Robinson was held to 16 yards on 10 carries while catching four of five targets for 22 yards in Sunday's 23-20 win over the Buccaneers.
Impact Robinson failed to generate any running lanes against Pro Bowl DT Vita Vea and the interior of Tampa Bay's defense. Quarterback Jayden Daniels wound up leading the Commanders in carries (13) as the rushing offense was forced to operate outside of the numbers in the second half. Robinson also had to deal with the presence of veteran backup Austin Ekeler -- who was activated from IR in Week 18 -- poaching 11 touches for a combined 53 yards in Sunday's narrow victory. With a shared backfield and a potential pass-heavy game plan set for the divisional round, Robinson makes for a marginal DFS option against the Lions on Saturday.
JANUARY 13, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Terry McLaurin - Strong numbers in playoff win McLaurin finished with seven receptions on 10 targets for 89 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 23-20 win over Tampa Bay.
Impact McLaurin was narrowly edged out by Mike Evans (7-92-1) for the best receiving line in this wild-card round showdown, but the former got the last laugh after finishing on the winning side Sunday. The 29-year-old McLaurin now has 14 touchdown receptions in 18 combined regular and postseason games this year, which matches the combined total from his previous three seasons. Rookie Jayden Daniels' strong quarterback play has been the key difference, as the QB/WR duo have hit the air flying in their first season as teammates. McLaurin will have a prime opportunity to put up numbers in the divisional round of the playoffs against a banged up Lions' secondary Saturday.

Botched handoff by Baker Mayfield and late failures by Bucs' offense contribute to playoff loss

Jayden Daniels - Performs well in first playoff game Daniels completed 24 of 35 pass attempts for 268 yards and two touchdowns while rushing 13 times for 36 yards in Sunday's 23-20 playoff win over the Buccaneers.
Impact Daniels looked like a seasoned veteran in his postseason debut, showing tremendous poise in the pocket (110.2 QB rating) without committing a turnover in a ruckus road environment. The rookie standout didn't post gaudy rushing totals on 13 attempts, but his four-yard scramble on third down in the waning moments of Sunday's narrow victory helped push Washington into the next round of the playoffs. Daniels and the Commanders will face a stiffer test in the divisional round when the team travels to Detroit to face the NFC's No. 1 seeded Lions on Saturday. The dual-threat quarterback still makes for a strong fantasy play despite entering the contest as an underdog given how decimated Detroit's secondary has become due to injury.

Jordan Magee - Questionable to return Sunday Magee (hamstring) is questionable to return to Sunday night's NFC wild-card game against the Buccaneers.
Impact Magee appears to have aggravated the hamstring injury that sidelined him for the team's last two regular season games. The linebacker's absence only carries an impact on special teams.
JANUARY 13, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Daron Payne - Questionable to return Sunday Payne (finger) is questionable to return to Sunday night's NFC wild-card game against the Buccaneers.
Impact Payne suffered a finger injury late in the first half, exiting the contest as a result. The defensive tackle recorded a solo tackle before leaving the game. In Payne's absence, Sheldon Day and Jer'Zhan Newton will operate in more significant roles on the defensive line.
JANUARY 13, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Ben Sinnott - Returns to action Sinnott (shoulder) returned to action in Sunday night's wild-card game against Tampa Bay.
Impact Sinnott suffered a shoulder injury in the first half, but he has now returned to the field to open the second half. He'll continue to operate as the team's No. 3 tight end behind Zach Ertz and John Bates.

Ben Sinnott - Questionable to return Sunday Sinnott (shoulder) is questionable to return to Sunday night's wild-card game against the Buccaneers.
Impact Sinnott went down with a shoulder injury in the first half, exiting the contest as a result. In his absence, Zach Ertz and John Bates will continue to handle the lion's share of the offensive work at tight end.
