William Gholston - Ready to play Gholston (knee) is active Sunday against the Broncos.
Impact Gholston logged back-to-back DNPs during practice to start the week, but he returned to log a limited session Friday. He'll bolster the Buccaneers' depth on their defensive front in Week 3.

Josh Hayes - Returning to action Hayes (ankle) is active Sunday against the Broncos.
Impact Hayes was unable to play in Week 2 against the Lions but is healed enough to suit up in Week 3. He'll add depth to the Buccaneers' secondary and help chip in on special teams.

How to Watch Buccaneers vs. Broncos: Time, TV Channel and Live Stream – 2024 Week 3
Kameron Johnson - Won't play Sunday Johnson (ankle) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against Denver, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Impact Johnson ended the week with back-to-back DNPs, and he will shift his focus to being available for Week 4 against the Eagles. Sterling Shepard was elevated from the practice squad and will provide depth for the Bucs' wide receiver corps Sunday.
SEPTEMBER 21, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Vita Vea - Officially ruled out for Week 3 Vea (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Broncos, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Impact Vea was initially tagged as doubtful for Sunday's game after not practicing all week. Now that he's been ruled out, his next opportunity to play will be Week 4 against the Eagles on Sept. 29. Greg Gaines will step up into the starting nose tackle role and enforce the Bucs' interior defensive line.
SEPTEMBER 21, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Sterling Shepard - Elevated for Week 3 The Buccaneers elevated Shepard from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports.
Impact After spending the first eight years of his NFL career with the Giants, Shepard signed with the Buccaneers in June. While he wasn't able to make the 53-man roster at the end of training camp, the 2016 second-round pick opted to stick around in Tampa Bay on the practice squad. With Kameron Johnson (ankle) being listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Broncos, Shepard's elevation to the active roster will provide depth in the Bucs' wide receiver corps behind Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Jalen McMillan and Trey Palmer.

2024 NFL Week 3 Blazin' 5: Can Bo Nix, Broncos compete with Buccaneers?
Kameron Johnson - Doubtful for Week 3 Johnson (ankle) did not practice Friday and is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against Denver, Brianna Dix of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
Impact Johnson opened the week as a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, but he was a DNP Thursday and Friday and he is not expected to play Sunday. The Bucs could call up a wide receiver from the practice squad like Sterling Shepard, Cody Thompson or Ryan Miller in anticipation of Johnson being inactive for Week 3.
SEPTEMBER 21, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Vita Vea - Unlikely to play Sunday Vea (knee) was a limited participant in Friday's practice and is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Broncos, Brianna Dix of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
Impact Vea is working through a Grade 2 MCL sprain he sustained in the Bucs' Week 2 win over the Lions. He opened the week with back-to-back DNP's, and while he was able to practice in a limited capacity Friday, the 2018 first-round pick isn't expected to suit up Sunday. Greg Gaines is the top candidate to slot into the starting nose tackle spot should Vea be inactive.
SEPTEMBER 21, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Luke Goedeke - Won't play vs. Broncos Coach Todd Bowles said Friday that Goedeke (concussion) will not play in Week 3, Jenna Laine of ESPN.com reports.
Impact Bowles also said that Goedeke is "progressing," a potentially encouraging sign for his availability come Week 4. In the meantime, Justin Skule should continue to fill in as the starter at right tackle.

Rachaad White - Cleared from injury report White (groin) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Broncos, Brianna Dix of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
Impact The signs have been consistently positive ever since White briefly left last Sunday's win over the Lions to be evaluated for a groin injury. He rejoined the game and finished with 71 percent snap share, and he then managed limited practices Wednesday and Thursday before upgrading to full participation at the end of the week. White thus appears in line for his usual role this Sunday, although it's possible the Bucs ease up on him a bit given that rookie backup Bucky Irving has looked pretty good as a runner so far.
SEPTEMBER 20, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Antoine Winfield Jr. - Will miss Week 3 Coach Todd Bowles said Winfield (foot) will not play Sunday against the Broncos, Brianna Dix of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
Impact Winfield suffered a foot injury in Week 1 and was given an initial timetable of 3-to-4 weeks, so perhaps a Week 4 return against the Eagles is more doable. Christian Izien and Jordan Whitehead each played all 85 defensive snaps at safety last week against the Lions.
SEPTEMBER 20, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Calijah Kancey - Out again for Week 3 Coach Todd Bowles said Kancey (calf) will not play Sunday against the Broncos, Brianna Dix of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
Impact Kancey will have to wait another week to make his 2024 debut. The Bucs are dealing with injuries to both Kancey and Vita Via (knee) on the interior of the defensive line, leaving Greg Gaines, William Gholston and Mike Greene to soak up extra snaps.
SEPTEMBER 20, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Rachaad White - Practicing Friday White (groin) is practicing Friday, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Impact White returned to last week's win over Detroit after injuring his groin in the first half, ultimately play 71 percent of Tampa Bay's snaps on offense. He then managed limited practice participation Wednesday and Thursday, suggesting he's on track to play this Sunday against the Broncos. It's nonetheless possible White gets a designation on Tampa's final injury report Friday afternoon.

Rejuvenated Mayfield and Bucs look to remain unbeaten against winless Broncos

It’s not always pretty, but Baker Mayfield is getting the job done for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
SEPTEMBER 19, 2024 • Associated Press
Jamel Dean - Appears past knee injury Dean (knee) was a full participant in Thursday's practice.
Impact Dean was limited in Wednesday's practice, but he was able to participate without restriction in Thursday' session. Barring any setbacks, the 2019 third-round pick should be good to go for Sunday's game against the Broncos. Dean has registered 15 tackles (11 solo) and one pass defended over the first two games of the regular season.
SEPTEMBER 19, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Rachaad White - Stays limited at practice White (groin) was a limited practice participant Thursday, Brianna Dix of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
Impact White played through a groin injury this past Sunday in Detroit that has resulted in back-to-back capped sessions to kick off Week 3 prep. There's been no indication that he may be in danger of missing Sunday's game against the Broncos, and the Buccaneers could provide clarity on his situation as soon as the release of Friday's practice report. Through two contests this season, White has 32 touches to backup Bucky Irving's 18, though the former is averaging just a shade under 2.0 yards per carry.
