Joining Kaulig Racing
Kaulig Racing announced that Dillon will drive the team's No.10 Camaro ZL1 in the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season.
Impact
The veteran of 244 Cup Series starts will go full-time racing in NASCAR's top division in 2025. The team has acquired the rights to the No. 10 and will field that Chevrolet for Dillon next season. He has never finished inside the Top 25 of the driver standings in any of his previous Cup Series campaigns. It will be interesting to see if Dillon can elevate his level of performance with Kaulig Racing next season.

Will no longer driver for Rackley W.A.R.
Dillon will not pilot the No. 25 truck for Rackley W.A.R. the rest of the season, Bob Pockrass of Fox Sports reports.
Impact
Dillon will stay on with Rackley W.A.R. as a driver mentor for Dawson Sutton, who will drive the truck in the final five Truck Series races in 2024. Dillon has his eyes set on a potential return to the Cup Series in 2025. He will be piloting the No. 16 for Kaulig Racing this week at Kansas, and many think he could be a favorite to take over the No. 31 entry for the team in 2025 for Daniel Hemric.

Running select Xfinity races for RCR
Dillon will pilot the No. 3 Chevrolet in select NASCAR Xfinity Series races in 2023 for Richard Childress Racing.
Impact
This deal came together thanks to a longtime partner of Dillon, Ferris Mowers, hoping on board to sponsor his Cup Series car with Spire Motorsports in a select number of races, including the Daytona 500. They will also give Dillon a chance to run a competitive car in the Xfinity Series in an unknown number of races. As a Cup Series veteran, it is expected that Dillon won't be able to exceed five starts in the Xfinity Series. Justin Alexander will be the crew chief for this part-time No. 3 car, which was driven last year in a race at Talladega by Jeffrey Earnhardt and finished second.

Joining Spire Motorsports
Spire Motorsports announced on Tuesday that Dillon would pilot their No. 77 car full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series in 2023.
Impact
Dillon returned to the Cup Series full-time this season with Petty GMS, but has struggled to keep pace with teammate Erik Jones. As a result, Petty GMS elected to replace him in the No. 42 car with a rising superstar in Noah Gragson. Dillon fielded multiple offers for a ride in 2023 across all three series, but ultimately he wanted to stay in the Cup Series and Spire seemed to be the best fit for him all along. Corey Lajoe will remain in the No. 7 car, which showed a performance pickup at times this season, most notably at the summer Atlanta race where he nearly scored a victory. The No. 77 car did not have the same speed this season, but also has been a revolving door of drivers. 2023 will be Dillon's sixth season of full-time Cup racing and has yet to finish better than 24th in the standings.
