Alex Palou Dominates To Win in Another Barber Beatdown

Fourth at Barber Malukas finished fourth in Sunday's IndyCar Series Children's of Alabama Indy Grand Prix at Barber Motorsports Park.

Impact Malukas continued his strong 2026 season with a fourth-place result at Barber Motorsports Park, which moved the Team Penske driver to fourth in points. He had a chance at a podium late, but was unable to get past Graham Rahal despite a major advantage in remaining Push to Pass. Up next is Long Beach, a track where Malukas has never finished better than 17th, though those previous races saw him drive for either Dale Coyne or A.J. Foyt.

Picks Up Top 10 Malukas started ninth and finished sixth in the NTT IndyCar Series Java House Grand Prix of Arlington on Sunday.

Impact Malukas has posted back-to-back Top-10 finishes for the first time since last July, following his sixth-place run in Sunday's Java House Grand Prix of Arlington. Initially scored in seventh, Malukas moved up a spot after a post-race penalty on Felix Rosenqvist, who was penalized for overtaking Malukas before the restart line after the race's first caution period. He'll look to build on Sunday's result when the series heads to Barber Motorsports Park, but Malukas has never finished better than 16th in an IndyCar Series race at the track.
