Runner-up at Indianapolis Malukas finished second in the Sonsio Grand Prix NTT IndyCar Series race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course on Saturday afternoon.
Impact Malukas started fifth on the grid and was able to avoid the multi-car clash in turn 1 after the green flag. That would lock him into Top 5 track position for nearly the full race. The Penske Racing youngster rose to the lead late in the race but could not hold off a brilliant overtake from Christian Lundgaard with 18 laps remaining. Malukas would pursue the rest of the way and finish 4.6-seconds back at the checkered flag for an impressive runner-up finish.
