Impact Semien fouled a ball off his left foot during Thursday's game against the Royals and was diagnosed with a foot contusion. Per Jeff Wilson of AllDLLS.com, Semien is in jeopardy of missing the entire weekend series, so his absence from Friday's lineup card isn't surprising. Ezequiel Duran will draw the start at the keystone and bat eighth.

Jacob deGrom - Slated for bullpen session Saturday DeGrom (shoulder) will throw a bullpen session Saturday, Jeff Wilson of AllDLLS.com reports.
Impact DeGrom's last start was skipped due to right shoulder fatigue, though the Rangers indicated the decision was made as much or more due to the pitcher's workload than injury. As long as deGrom gets through his bullpen session Saturday with no issues, he should start Monday's game against the Angels.

Michael Helman - Call-up pending Helman is expected to be called up from Triple-A Round Rock, Jeff Wilson of AllDLLS.com reports Friday.
Impact Helman is slated to take Evan Carter's (wrist) spot on the active roster once Carter is placed on the injured list. Helman has been with Round Rock since July 27, and he's slashed .182/.308/.455 in 14 plate appearances with the Rangers this season. The 29-year-old has tallied a .744 OPS with Round Rock in 2025.

Marcus Semien - Could be held out all weekend Semien (foot) could miss the entire weekend series against the Guardians and a trip to the 10-day injured list is possible, Jeff Wilson of AllDLLS.com reports.
Impact Semien had to be lifted from Thursday's game versus the Royals due to a left foot contusion after fouling a ball off the area. He has not been diagnosed with any fractures, but evidently the discomfort could keep him out a handful of days or longer. Ezequiel Duran, Cody Freeman and Josh Smith and Michael Helman are options to play second base for the Rangers while Semien is out.
