Marcus Semien - Meeting with specialist Sunday Semien (foot) is slated to meet with a foot doctor Sunday and will not play Saturday, Matthew Postins of SI.com reports.
Impact Semien hasn't played since being removed from Thursday's contest against Kansas City a few innings after fouling a ball off his foot. The veteran infielder has so far had an X-Ray, CAT scan and MRI, with results of the latter coming back inconclusive. Semien's meeting with the foot doctor should provide more clarity about the specifics of his injury and a return timeline. It's unlikely that he'll play in any capacity this weekend.

Rowdy Tellez - Goes deep in win Tellez started at first base and went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 4-3 win over Cleveland.
Impact Tellez swatted his third home run in 24 games since being promoted to the majors July 18. He started at first base for the fourth time in the five games since the Rangers placed Jake Burger (wrist) on the 10-day injured list. All of his starts have come against right-handers.

Joc Pederson - Walks off Cleveland Pederson went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI in Friday's 4-3 win over the Guardians.
Impact Pederson laced a first-pitch double to drive in the game-winning run in the ninth inning for the walk-off win. His hit followed a game-tying single by Corey Seager on the first pitch he saw, as it appears the Rangers had a plan to jump early on Cleveland closer Cade Smith. Pederson has hit safely in four consecutive games, going 5-for-15 with a double, a home run and three RBI.

Marcus Semien - Imaging inconclusive Semien (foot) underwent an MRI on Friday that came back inconclusive, MLB.com reports.
Impact Semien fouled a ball off his foot during the series finale against the Royals on Thursday and was held out of Friday's lineup. He remained in a walking boot and could miss the entire weekend set against the Guardians. Ezequiel Duran started at second base in Semien's place.

Wyatt Langford - Continues hot stretch vs. Arizona Langford went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a double and an additional run scored in Friday's 4-3 win over the Diamondbacks.
Impact The rookie outfielder launched a 398-foot solo homer off Slade Cecconi's four-seamer in the sixth inning, his 19th long ball of the season and third in the last six games. He later doubled in the ninth and came around as the tying run in the rangers comeback effort. Over that six-game stretch, Langford has gone 8-for-21 (.381) with nine runs scored and four multi-hit performances, continuing to provide steady production near the top of Texas' lineup.

Nathan Eovaldi - Fans nine during quality start Eovaldi didn't factor into the decision against the Guardians on Friday, allowing one run on four hits while striking out nine over seven innings.
Impact The right-hander's lone blemish came on a second-inning RBI double by C.J. Kayfus, but he was otherwise dominant, tying his season high with nine punchouts. Eovaldi has now gone at least seven innings in five of his last seven outings, posting a 1.93 ERA and a stellar 43:8 K:BB across 46.2 innings during that stretch. The 35-year-old will carry this strong form into his next scheduled start against the Angels.
