Rhett Lowder - Works two innings in rehab game Lowder (oblique) allowed one run on two hits and struck out two over two innings in a rehab start for Triple-A Louisville on Saturday. He also hit a batter.
Impact Lowder began a rehab assignment with the Bats, who have enough games left in the regular season for the right-hander to get in another start. Beyond that, Lowder will pitch in the Arizona Fall League and have what the Reds described earlier as a normal offseason of preparation for 2026.

Sal Stewart - Racks up three hits Saturday Stewart went 3-for-4 with a run scored in Saturday's 11-5 loss to the Athletics.
Impact Stewart is now batting .250 over nine games in the majors, and he's added two home runs, three RBI and four runs scored. The infield prospect has settled into a timeshare with Spencer Steer at first base since he was called up when rosters expanded to 28 at the beginning of September. Stewart should continue to display high-quality contact skills as he adjusts to major-league pitching, and he'll compete for playing time at the corner infield spots to close out 2025.

It's unclear if the outfielder will be able to carve out a larger role to close out the year, though he could get the chance to if Noelvi Marte continues slumping.
