Fans six in no-decision Quantrill allowed one unearned run on three hits and four walks over six innings in Sunday's loss to the White Sox. He struck out six and did not factor in the decision.

Impact Quantrill worked through four scoreless innings before plunking Jose Abreu with the bases loaded in the fifth. It was his fourth consecutive start going at least five innings while allowing fewer than two runs, lowering his season ERA to 3.40 through 84.2 frames. Quantrill is projected to face Detroit at home next week.

Remains solid versus St. Louis Quantrill allowed a run on four hits and a walk while striking out five in six innings in a no-decision versus St. Louis.

Impact For the third straight start, Quantrill was able to limit the opposition to one run. The right-hander has settled into a nice groove since the All-Star break as he's been needed to address an injury-riddled Cleveland rotation. For the year, he owns a 3.66 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 55:26 K:BB through 78.2 innings. He'll take a 2-2 record into his next start, tentatively set for this weekend versus the White Sox.

Picks up first win Quantrill (1-2) earned the win Saturday against the Royals after allowing three hits on five hits and a walk across six innings, striking out one.

Impact Aside from earning his first win of the season, Quantrill also picked up his first quality start since he completed at least six frames for the first time in 2021. His strikeout numbers are still far from acceptable, with a 4.1 K/9 over his last five appearances, while posting a 6.00 ERA across that same stretch, but he found a way to get the job done here. That said, he's still far from being a reliable asset in most fantasy formats since he struggles to pitch deep into games and doesn't strike out a ton of guys.
