MLB Division Series Top Plays: Blue Jays Oust Yankees; Phillies and Cubs Force Game 4s

The defending American League champs are going home, and it's at the hands of their AL East rivals.

The New York Yankees are done after being eliminated by the Toronto Blue Jays, who'll be heading to their first AL Championship Series since 2016. 

Earlier in the day, the Detroit Tigers evened up their series with the Seattle Mariners after winning 9-3, with Game 5 in that series set for Friday. Then, the Chicago Cubs kept their season alive by beating the Milwaukee Brewers 4-3 in Game 3. Game 4 is scheduled for Thursday.

Finally, the Los Angeles Dodgers couldn't complete the sweep at home, losing to the Philadelphia Phillies 8-2. They'll get another chance on Thursday.
