Finishes 34th in LIV Golf standings McDowell carded a five-under 66 in the final round at LIV Golf Indianapolis to finish tied for 14th and end the regular season 34th in the individual standings with 39.77 points.

Impact McDowell finished T35 or worse in each of the last four LIV Golf tournaments heading into Indianapolis, but he surged into the top-15 at Chatham Hills after going 10-under over the final two rounds. It was an overall inconsistent season for McDowell, who failed to accrue points in seven of 17 LIV tournaments, with a large chunk of his points coming from his T2 performance in Virginia in early June. McDowell will represent the eighth-seeded Smash GC team of Jason Kokrak, Andalucia winner Talor Gooch and captain Brooks Koepka at the LIV Golf Team Championship in Michigan this weekend.

Impact After carding rounds of 67-66, McDowell found himself two shots back of Lahiri for the clubhouse lead heading into Championship Sunday. McDowell surged to the top of the leaderboard after carding four birdies from holes seven to 12, but he wasn't able to maintain that momentum and was caught and surpassed by eventual winner Joaquin Niemann. Despite not picking up the win, it was McDowell's best finish at a LIV Golf tournament and his first podium finish in the tour. He'll look to carry that momentum into LIV Golf Dallas starting June 27.

Impact McDowell's second round was the best of the tournament, as he finished with a five-under 65 score with six birdies and one bogey. He entered the final round two shots back of the clubhouse lead and was four-under through the first eight holes. However, he dropped out of contention with a bogey on the 11th hole, and he followed up a birdie on hole 17 with a double bogey on the par-4 18th to drop out of the top-10. McDowell was middle of the pack in driving accuracy and GIR, but he did rank top-10 in the field in birdies made, scrambling opportunities and putts per hole. He sits 30th in the LIV Golf individual season standings with 5.66 heading into Singapore, where he finished T37 in 2024.
