Impact Smylie was signed by LIV Golf's Ripper GC -- captained by Cameron Smith -- in January after the former put together a solid 2025 season in the DP World Tour. Several new names were in the field in Riyadh, but the 23-year-old Smylie wasn't fazed under the lights as he surged past Peter Uihlein and Talor Gooch for the lead during the final round, and the young Australian did enough to fend off a late surge from Rahm. Smylie finished the tournament with one eagle, 24 birdies and two bogeys, with his two bogeys coming over the first two rounds of the tournament. He couldn't have started his LIV Golf career any better, and he'll have the fans firmly behind him in Adelaide next week.
