It was Schwartzel's fourth top-12 finish of the season and his first since LIV Golf Mexico City in late April. Impact Schwartzel's best round came Saturday, when he carded a five-under 66 with one eagle, six birdies and three bogeys. The 40-year-old South African has finished solo second and T7 over the last two LIV Golf tournaments (and sandwiched between that a T36 finish at The Masters), and he sits 10th in the individual season standings with 50.16 points. Next up for Schwartzel is the LIV Golf Korea at the Jack Nicklaus Golf Club, a course he's familiar with as a member of the International Team at the 2015 Presidents Cup.

Schwartzel wasn't able to maneuver up the leaderboard after scoring even-par over the final two rounds at Augusta National, but he's made the cut at The Masters in five of the last six years. Makes big move on Sunday Schwartzel fired a six-under 66 in the final round of LIV Golf Miami to finish in solo second place.

Impact Schwartzel's 66 on Sunday tied Carlos Ortiz for the low round of the week. It was a very impressive round that included seven birdies to just one bogey. Trump National Doral played very tough this week with all the wind, but Schwartzel's going to look back at his second-round 75 which included two double-bogeys as what ultimately cost him a shot to beat Marc Leishman, who finished just a shot in front of him. Schwartzel does move up to 14th in the individual standings and the 2011 Masters Champion will hope to carry this good play into Augusta next week.

Impact Following a three-under 68 first round, Schwartzel was positioning himself for podium contention after going four-under through 16 holes in the second round. However, those aspirations quickly evaporated after he carded a double bogey on the par-4 16th hole and followed that up with a bogey on the 17th to drop to seven shots back of the clubhouse lead. Schwartzel has finished in the top-20 in three straight LIV Golf tournaments and ranks T4 and seventh this season in putts per hole (1.56) and scrambling opportunities (69.44 percent), respectively. Up next is LIV Golf Miami starting April 4, where Schwartzel finished T37 in 2024.

He ranks T5 in putts per hole (1.57), 10th in scrambling opportunities (69.09 percent) and T17 in driving accuracy (63.49 percent) through the first three LIV Golf tournaments of the year, but he also ranks last in the league in driving distance (282.4 yards) and T51 in GIR (66.05 percent). Next up is LIV Golf Singapore, where he finished 34th and T35 in 2023 and 2024, respectively.
