Impact McNamara is in a competitive quarterback competition with Deuce Hogan, Parker Award and Santino Marucci. No quarterback appears to be the frontrunner at the moment, but head coach Tony Sanchez said he will make the decision one week before the season starts. McNamara transferred to the program after one season at UTEP where he appeared in two games.
