Impact Grimm posted at least five catches for just the second time in his career as he also had six grabs at Texas Tech in 2020. This comes after not posting any catches in the season opener, so the sophomore's workflow moving forward will be worth watching. Kansas will host Baylor in their Big 12 opener next week.

Kansas is likely to be fighting from behind most weeks, so Lassiter could see a handful of targets moving forward. Kansas will play Baylor in their Big 12 opener next week.

Impact Gardner took a backseat to both Devin Neal (11 carries for 40 yards and a touchdown) and Jason Bean (13 carries for 102 yards and two touchdowns) versus Coastal Carolina. It's very likely that Kansas continues to utilize multiple players out of the backfield. They'll host Baylor in their Big 12 opener next week.

Devin Neal - First collegiate TD Neal rushed for 40 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries in Friday's 49-22 loss at Coastal Carolina.

Impact Neal, a true freshman, was able to add his first collegiate touchdown as he paced the backfield with three more carries than teammate Velton Gardner. It's worth noting that it was still quarterback Jason Bean who stole the show with 102 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries. It appears that Kansas may look to utilize both Neal and Gardner moving forward.

Through two games, he has 28 rushing attempts which suggests that he could be a reliable fantasy option as he has accounted for a pair of scores in each of his first two games with the Jayhawks.
