Impact Takacs seems to have suffered a type of leg injury, although details have not yet been disclosed. The senior tight end has missed the last two games due to injury and his chances of playing Saturday seem bleak at this point. He has totaled six receptions for 64 yards and one touchdown this season.

Impact Although Takacs failed to participate in both Tuesday's and Wednesday's practice sessions, Hafley said he's "hopeful" that the 6-foot-6 tight end will be available for Saturday's contest against Clemson, per Backstrom. Through the first five weeks of the 2022 campaign, Takacs recorded 17 receptions, 176 yards and one touchdown in that span. If the 247-pounder is eventually ruled out in Week 6, Hans Lillis, Jeremiah Franklin, Spencer Witter and Charlie Gordinier are candidates to take on expanded roles at tight end for the Eagles.
