Jack Janicki - Five points in win Janicki logged five points (2-6 FG, 1-4 3Pt), one rebound, one block and one steal across 15 minutes during Wednesday's 85-73 win over Northwestern.

Impact Despite an increased role this season, averaging 17.9 minutes off the bench, Janicki has still been largely quiet for the Badgers. He provided solid minutes in the win over the Wildcats despite not having the best shooting night, as he can provide a spark on the defensive end (hence the block and steal). Janicki should remain a quiet yet important bench player for the Badgers moving forward.

Aleksas Bieliauskas - Quiet in first start Bieliauskas produced six points (2-5 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT) and three rebounds in 20 minutes during Wednesday's 85-73 win over Northwestern.

Impact Bieliauskas got the start in place of Austin Rapp, and had a rather quiet evening. Still, the Lithuanian forward scored his first points in three games, notably hitting a three for the first time in his last seven attempts from beyond the arc. It remains to be seen if he'll hold down this starting role, but Bieliauskas didn't offer much in his first start in Madison.

Andrew Rohde - Career-high assists in win Rohde chipped in three points (0-3 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), two rebounds and nine assists across 27 minutes during Wednesday's 85-73 victory over Northwestern.

Impact Rohde didn't hit a shot from the floor, but he didn't need to as Wisconsin's other scorers -- namely John Blackwell and Nick Boyd -- carried the load as the Badgers opened Big Ten play with a win. Rohde, however, made a lot of the offense possible, dishing out nine assists, a career high. This was the lowest-scoring outing of Rohde's young Wisconsin career, and he'll look to get his shooting stroke back against Marquette on Saturday.

Austin Rapp - Not starting vs. Wildcats Rapp is out of Wisconsin's starting five against Northwestern, per Jed Katz of On3.com.

Impact Rapp has been inconsistent to start the 2025-26 campaign with the Badgers, and Wisconsin will send him to the bench against Northwestern in favor of fellow big Alexis Bieliauskas, who will get the start in his stead. This could be a purely matchup-related decision as Northwestern looks to stress the Badgers down low.

Austin Rapp - Inconsistent start with Badgers Rapp recorded two points (1-6 FG, 0-3 3Pt), five rebounds and one assist in 22 minutes during Friday's 74-63 loss to TCU.

Impact Rapp put up a season-best 20 points in the Rady Children's Invitational opener against Providence on Thursday, but he was completely held in check by the TCU defense the following day. In addition to struggling from the field, he committed a season-high three turnovers for a collective frontcourt that simply couldn't get it going offensively. Rapp's game log has been wildly consistent so far this season, with his worst scoring showings coming against the best competition the Badgers have faced.

Nolan Winter - Struggles offensively against TCU Winter chipped in three points (0-3 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 10 rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal across 36 minutes before fouling out of Friday's 74-63 loss to TCU.

Impact Winter opened the Rady Children's Invitational with 19 points against Providence but struggled to get his shot going here, attempting just three field goals and not converting a single one. It was also the first time he's fouled out all season, though it didn't stop him from logging his third consecutive double-digit rebounding effort. Without Steven Crowl to share the frontcourt with, Winter is averaging a career-best 10.1 rpg seven games into his junior year. Next up is a home matchup against Northwestern on Wednesday.

John Blackwell - Tallies 30 in defeat Blackwell closed Friday's 74-63 loss to TCU with 30 points (8-22 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 11-12 FT), six rebounds and three steals in 34 minutes.

Impact Blackwell didn't get much help from his frontcourt in a game that was largely played from 10 or more points behind, but his ability to convert tough shots kept the struggling Badger offense within striking distance in what would have otherwise been a total blowout. Blackwell forms an outstanding backcourt duo with newcomer Nick Boyd that averages a combined 40.0 ppg through eight games this season, but Wisconsin has lost two of its last three, all against power-conference competition. The Badgers will look to bounce back Wednesday at home against Northwestern, their first Big Ten opponent.
