Austin Rapp - Questionable vs. Gophers Rapp (ankle) is questionable to face Minnesota on Tuesday.

Impact Rapp was considered unlikely to return to action Tuesday, but the sophomore forward is still questionable with tip-off several hours out and looks to be a game-time call for the Badgers. The sophomore forward has missed the past two games, and prior to that he'd settled into a bench role in Madison, averaging 8.6 points and 3.1 rebounds in his newfound backup role.

Austin Rapp - Unlikely to return Tuesday Rapp (ankle) appears unlikely to return in Tuesday's game against Minnesota, Nick Osen of 247Sports.com reports.

Impact Rapp, who has missed the last two games with an ankle injury, was able to get in some work with a trainer this week, but he was held out of live drills. The 6-foot-10 sophomore, who is averaging 9.4 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 0.8 blocks on 23.4 minutes per game, will have his status monitored heading into Tuesday's game against the Golden Gophers.

Braeden Carrington - X-factor in upset Carrington accumulated 12 points (1-4 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 9-12 FT), nine rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal across 27 minutes during Saturday's 91-88 victory over Michigan.

Impact Carrington stepped up in a huge way here, as Austin Rapp (undisclosed) was sidelined and Andrew Rohde found himself in foul trouble, which led to the Badgers needing significantly more run from the senior transfer from Tulsa. Not only did Carrington see more minutes than in any other game this season, but he scored his most points since Nov. 21 and shattered his season-best rebounding total. He was also notably 9-for-12 from the charity stripe after attempting only one free-throw in his previous five games combined. It would be easy to write this production off as fluke circumstances, but Carrington at least showed he can answer the bell when called upon in high-stakes scenarios.

John Blackwell - Sparks upset with game-high 26 Blackwell notched 26 points (9-16 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 4-6 FT), five rebounds, three assists and one steal in 38 minutes during Saturday's 91-88 win over Michigan.

Impact Blackwell's scoring fell off a bit over the final four games of December, as he averaged just 9.7 ppg, potentially due in part to an undisclosed injury that forced one DNP. He rallied a bit with 17 points in a win over UCLA earlier in the week, though his outside shooting didn't quite click, as he was 1-for-9 from distance. That changed Saturday against the top team in the country, as Blackwell knocked down four treys -- his highest single-game total since Dec. 6. His 26 points were also a game-high. It's not an oversimplification to say the Badgers will go as Blackwell goes, as point guard Nick Boyd (19.7 ppg) has been impressive this year, but Wisconsin sees the most success when both are scoring at a high rate. Next up is a matchup at Minnesota on Tuesday.

Impact Rohde had a great game, getting back into double figures scoring-wise for the first time since Dec. 6 and pulling down a season-high six rebounds. He also protected the ball with no turnovers and was efficient from the field. This is the kind of player Wisconsin thought it was getting when he transferred over from Virginia; now, he'll look to stack good performances as the Badgers try to pick up some momentum.

Impact Boyd was Wisconsin's best player as it bested UCLA in Madison to even its Big Ten record to 2-2. His quick first step and ability to go coast-to-coast with the ball were instrumental in powering the Badgers' offense to a win. He was the leading scorer with 20, but he also tied for the most rebounds with eight and dished out the most assists with five. Boyd is having no problem thriving in Madison; now, it's time for the rest of the team to pick up the slack.
