Impact Cupps' nine points were the biggest output of the season thus far. The sophomore guard has been largely quiet off the bench, but he managed to get involved as Ohio State bested Oregon. He'll look to build off this performance as Big Ten play continues.

The forward has moved into the starting lineup for the past four games, and is averaging 10.3 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists in that span. The freshman forward appears to be trending in the right direction as the Buckeyes brace for the meat of Big Ten play.

Impact Thornton remained dynamic as the Buckeyes dropped a narrow one to red-hot Nebraska. The guard shot 50 percent from the field and dished out seven assists, his second-highest total of the season in that department. Thornton is having a career year in every category for the Buckeyes, and needs to continue his strong play if Ohio State is going to stay afloat in a brutal Big Ten.
