Puff Johnson - Temporarily granted eligibility Johnson has received a temporary restraining order against the NCAA that allows him to play for Ohio State this season, per Dan Hope of ElevenWarriors.com.

Impact Back in April, Johnson put his name in the NCAA's transfer portal in an attempt to squeeze out one more year of collegiate eligibility that the organization did not agree that he had available. But with the restraining order, Ohio State's team has been allowed to pick Johnson up and use him, which the Buckeyes will welcome after Brandon Noel (foot) went down with an indefinite injury. In terms of adapting to conference play, Johnson should have no problem, considering he logged 46 games for Penn State before switching up teams.
