Transfers to Providence Fernandez announced his commitment to Providence on Sunday, per Joe Tipton of On3.com.

Impact Noah Locke was part of Providence's starting frontcourt all games the team played between January and March. However, he does not have collegiate eligibility anymore. Providence wanted someone in place of him. Thus, the Friars acquired Fernandez so he could be Locke's potential replacement.
