David Mirkovic - Starts, plays well
Mirkovic (undisclosed) produced 12 points (4-7 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds and two assists in 28 minutes during Saturday's 88-82 victory over Purdue.
Impact
Mirkovic was a question mark heading into the road clash with Purdue, but he wound up getting the start and producing another solid game. It was his third straight game scoring in double figures with at least eight rebounds and two assists. Of course, his performance was overshadowed by the historic 46-point outing from freshman Keaton Wagler, but Mirkovic remains a steady piece of the puzzle for the Illini.

Keaton Wagler - Shatters records in huge road win
Wagler had 46 points (13-17 FG, 9-11 3Pt, 11-13 FT) and four assists over 39 minutes during Saturday's 88-82 victory over Purdue.
Impact
Wagler was absolutely unconscious as Illinois picked up a signature win over Purdue on the road in Mackey Arena. He poured on a whopping 46 for the most points ever scored by a freshman in Illini history, and also served as the closer late in the game, hitting a clutch floater to essentially put the game out of reach in the waning seconds. The freshman had been very solid from distance, hitting just under 40 percent of his threes coming into the game, but he buried an unreal 9-of-11 against the Boilermakers, helping him achieve his staggering point total on just 17 shots. The sky appears to be the limit for the 6-foot-6 guard from Kansas.

David Mirkovic - Spotted in warmups
Mirkovic (undisclosed) is in warmups ahead of Saturday's game at Purdue, Scott Richey of The Champaign News-Gazette reports.
Impact
Mirkovic has yet to miss a game this season, and while the questionable tag exercises some caution, his presence in warmups suggests he might be able to suit up. His presence would be huge for Illinois, as the freshman forward is averaging a solid line of 12.2 points, 8.4 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game this season.

ROTOWIRE
David Mirkovic - Questionable vs. Purdue
Mirkovic is listed questionable ahead of Saturday's game against the Boilermakers.
Impact
Mirkovic could be in danger of missing his first game of the season as he deals with some type of injury. The freshman forward has been a major contributor for Illinois, averaging 12.2 points, 8/4 rebounds and 2.6 assists on 28.1 minutes across 19 appearances this season. His absence would be a major loss.

ROTOWIRE
Ty Rodgers - Inactive Saturday
Rodgers (knee) will not appear in Saturday's game against Purdue.
Impact
Rodgers will remain sidelined against the Boilermakers as he continues to make progress in recovering from a significant preseason knee injury. The 6-foot-6 junior's timeline moving forward is unclear.

ROTOWIRE
Jason Jakstys - Ruled out Saturday
Jakstys (undisclosed) is out for Saturday's game against Purdue.
Impact
Jakstys has been a depth piece in the frontcourt for Illinois this season, so his role isn't significant, so he shouldn't have a lot of fantasy upside. He's averaged just 1.3 points and 1.9 boards across 5.3 minutes per game in nine outings off the bench this season.

Data Skrive
Keaton Wagler - Another stat-stuffer
Wagler finished Wednesday's 89-70 win over Maryland with 13 points (4-12 FG, 1-9 3Pt, 4-6 FT), seven rebounds and eight assists in 33 minutes.
Impact
Wagler's stellar freshman season keep chugging along, as he now leads the Illini in both scoring (15.9 ppg) and assists (4.0 apg) while checking in at second on the team in rebounding (5.2 rpg). He's firmly grabbed the attention of NBA Scouts at this point and will get even more volume allotted to him in the coming weeks while Kylan Boswell is sidelined with a hand fracture.

Jake Davis - Gets nod in Boswell's stead
Davis registered 12 points (4-6 FG, 4-6 3Pt), four rebounds and two assists over 25 minutes during Wednesday's 89-70 victory over Maryland.
Impact
Davis made his first start since November and put forth one of his better scoring efforts, especially taking into account that he was held scoreless in two of his last three games. It appears he'll get the first look at the starting shooting guard spot while Kylan Boswell is sidelined roughly three weeks due to a fractured hand.

•
ROTOWIRE
Andrej Stojakovic - No injury concern after all
Stojakovic recorded 30 points (9-18 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 8-8 FT), nine rebounds, one assist and two blocks across 33 minutes during Wednesday's 89-70 win over Maryland.
Impact
Stojakovic was last seen limping off the court just four days earlier, but he appeared to be at 100 percent here, posting a season-high in one of his best outings of the year. His shot volume should see a short-term boost, as point guard Kylan Boswell is set to miss three weeks due to a fractured right hand.

Kylan Boswell - Should return in around three weeks
Boswell (hand) is expected to be sidelined between three and four weeks, head coach Brad Underwood told Jeremy Werner of 247Sports.com.
Impact
Boswell fractured his hand in practice when he collided with another player, and after undergoing surgery, he'll have his hand pinned and plated. Underwood's timeline suggests the star guard will return around mid-February. Losing Boswell is a huge blow for Illinois, as he's averaging 14.3 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game while starting in each of his 18 appearances.
