Impact Humrichous got his first start of the 2025-26 campaign, and it was largely one for the big man to forget. He shot just 20 percent from the field and only secured two rebounds over 14 minutes. Illinois still managed to eek out a win over Northwestern, but Humrichous will need to take his game up a notch if he remains in head coach Brad Underwood's starting five.

Impact Ivisic was once again very efficient in a limited outing off the bench. He canned two triples en route to scoring eight points on five shots. The forward is shooting with career-best efficiency this season, hitting 58.3 percent of his shots from the floor and 38 percent of his shots from downtown. Don't expect a massive outing from the bench player any time soon, but he's been a crucial member of Illinois' rotation.

Jake Davis - Leads charge off bench Davis had 12 points (4-7 FG, 4-7 3Pt), three rebounds and one steal in 20 minutes during Thursday's 81-55 victory over Rutgers.

Impact Davis canned four triples as Illinois easily bested Rutgers. It was one of the junior forward's best outings of the season, as he's been largely quiet since being relegated to the bench three games into the year. Davis will hope this outburst, plus the 15-point outing he produced on Dec. 29, could help him earn more minutes down the stretch.

Keaton Wagler - Leading scorer in blowout Wagler contributed 17 points (5-12 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 6-7 FT), seven rebounds and three assists across 32 minutes during Thursday's 81-55 victory over Rutgers.

Impact Wagler has been on a tear as a freshman for the Illini, and Thursday night was no exception. He struggled from the field a bit, but managed to post another big scoring night by getting to the free throw line. He also pulled down seven rebounds; he's been very assertive on the glass for a freshman guard. Wagler will look to keep it going as Illinois gears up for a two-game road trip, at Iowa and at Northwestern.

Andrej Stojakovic - Another 12-point outing Stojakovic closed with 12 points (4-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), eight rebounds and one block in 24 minutes during Thursday's 81-55 victory over Rutgers.

Impact Stojakovic scored 12 points for the second time in a row, and he also pulled down eight rebounds, his second-highest total of the season in that department. The junior wing, who averages 14.4 points on 53 percent shooting from the field at the moment, is a key part of this Illini offense and his efficiency has been big. He'll look to pick it up from beyond the arc, as he's hitting just 23 percent of his three-pointers, but otherwise Stojakovic has been pretty lights out for Illinois.

Kylan Boswell - Balanced output in win Boswell logged nine points (4-7 FG, 1-4 3Pt), five rebounds and five assists across 30 minutes during Thursday's 81-55 victory over Rutgers.

Impact Boswell was a factor as a scorer, as a passer and on the glass, as the senior point guard has done all season. After he hit double-digits in nine of the first eleven games of the season, his scoring has dipped a bit, as he's hit double figures just once in the past four games. Still, Boswell is averaging a career-best 14.5 points while shooting 47.0 percent from the field; there's no reason to worry yet about his quieter recent stretch.

Tomislav Ivisic - 14 points in rout of Rutgers Ivisic provided 14 points (5-10 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal in 26 minutes during Thursday's 81-55 victory over Rutgers.

Impact Ivisic bounced back after being blanked in the scoring column against Penn State. The junior center shot 50 percent from the field and pulled down four boards, not needing to do all that much as Illinois easily blew past Rutgers. He'll look to stay active as a scorer at Iowa on Sunday.

JANUARY 9 • ROTOWIRE

David Mirkovic - Struggles from field in win Mirkovic chipped in eight points (2-8 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), seven rebounds and three assists in 27 minutes during Thursday's 81-55 win over Rutgers.

Impact Mirkovic still notched seven rebounds and dished out three assists, but he was cold from the field Thursday night. No matter; Illinois still disposed of Rutgers with relative ease and has now won two straight Big Ten games. As for Mirkovic, his scoring has cooled down as of late but he's still averaging 12.7 points, 8.3 rebounds and 2.6 assists as a freshman for the Illini.
