With him available, it should be better, and he also brings both scoring and depth for the recently injury-struck Illini. For his 2025-26 season, Boswell has 14.3 points per game, which he has logged while shooting 47.5 percent from the field and 81.8 percent from the free-throw line.

Impact What can you even say about Wagler at this point? The freshman point guard was unconscious once again, dropping 34 points on 52 percent shooting. Wisconsin had no answer for him all night, and though the Badgers stole one in Champaign, Wagler had the ball in his hands for the last shot, putting up a wild three that clanked off the front iron. He's been largely unstoppable as of late, but it was good to see him bounce back from a 2-of-16 shooting night in the loss to Michigan State.
