Andrej Stojakovic - Will return this season
Stojakovic (ankle) will return at some point this season, per Jeremy Werner of 247Sports.
Impact
Stojakovic is still recovering from the ankle sprain that he suffered during the Feb. 7 loss versus Michigan State. While there's currently no timetable on his return, he is expected to play again this season.

Ben Humrichous - Not part of starting lineup
Humrichous is not part of the Illini's starting lineup for their upcoming game Sunday against Indiana, On3 reports.
Impact
Kylan Boswell (hand) and Andrej Stojakovic (ankle) out is why Humrichous became part of the Fighting Illini's starting lineup for their latest game Tuesday against Wisconsin. Without either, he logged more than 40 minutes during both teams' overtime matchup. Now that Boswell is available, the Illini's starting lineup will include him.

Andrej Stojakovic - Still out Sunday
Stojakovic (ankle) is out for Sunday's game against Indiana, according to Jeremy Werner of 247Sports.
Impact
Stojakovic's ankle injury will cause another DNP. For the Illinois team's conference games, his rates include 13.3 points and 5.6 rebounds. Without him part of Illinois' starting lineup against Wisconsin, the Illini used Ben Humrichous, though Kylan Boswell (hand) now healthy may mean another alteration to their starting lineup come Sunday.

Kylan Boswell - Available vs. Indiana
Boswell (hand) is available for Sunday's game against Indiana, according to Jeremy Werner of 247Sports.
Impact
After fracturing his right hand in mid-January, Boswell did not play seven games, for which Illinois started out 5-0 before suffering back-to-back losses, mostly because of subpar defense. With him available, it should be better, and he also brings both scoring and depth for the recently injury-struck Illini. For his 2025-26 season, Boswell has 14.3 points per game, which he has logged while shooting 47.5 percent from the field and 81.8 percent from the free-throw line.

Andrej Stojakovic - Game-time call Sunday
Stojakovic (ankle) will be a game-time call for Sunday's contest against Indiana, Joey Wagner of 247Sports.com reports.
Impact
Stojakovic missed Tuesday's 92-90 loss to Wisconsin due to an ankle sprain, and it's unclear whether he'll recover in time to be an option for this matchup against the Hoosiers. Stojakovic averages 13.7 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game this season, so not having him around would be a huge blow for Illinois.

Andrej Stojakovic - Status still uncertain for Sunday
Stojakovic (ankle) remains a question mark for Sunday's game against Indiana, per Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.
Impact
Stojakovic missed Illinois' loss to Wisconsin, his first absence since the opener. The Illini would love to have their starting wing, who averages 13.7 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.1 assists, back in action as soon as possible, but head coach Brad Underwood told Rothstein that his status remains "TBD."

Kylan Boswell - Will be game-time decision
Boswell (hand) will be a game-time decision for Sunday's game against Indiana, according to Pete Thamel of ESPN.
Impact
Sunday marks Boswell's first legitimate chance to be available for Illinois since fracturing his right hand. He has sat out seven games, a stretch that the Fighting Illini started out well before losing back-to-back matchups at Michigan State and Wisconsin. Boswell is not only one of Illinois' best defenders but also a versatile perimeter player, so having him available against Indiana should boost the Illini's chances of fending off Indiana.

Keaton Wagler - Drops 34, final three falls short
Wagler chipped in 34 points (12-23 FG, 5-10 3Pt, 5-8 FT), one rebound and seven assists in 44 minutes during Tuesday's 92-90 OT loss to Wisconsin.
Impact
What can you even say about Wagler at this point? The freshman point guard was unconscious once again, dropping 34 points on 52 percent shooting. Wisconsin had no answer for him all night, and though the Badgers stole one in Champaign, Wagler had the ball in his hands for the last shot, putting up a wild three that clanked off the front iron. He's been largely unstoppable as of late, but it was good to see him bounce back from a 2-of-16 shooting night in the loss to Michigan State.

Jake Davis - Solid outing vs. Badgers
Davis supplied 11 points (3-6 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), two rebounds, three assists and one block over 37 minutes before fouling out of Tuesday's 92-90 OT loss to Wisconsin.
Impact
On a night in which the State Farm Center was packed with Illini fans donning wigs that mimicked Davis' hairstyle, he responded with one of his better games as of late. He a shot 50 percent from the field and got back in double figures points-wise. Since entering the starting five, Davis averages 8.9 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists.

Andrej Stojakovic - Dealing with ankle sprain
Stojakovic is dealing with an ankle sprain and will be out for the time being, head coach Brad Underwood told Glenn Kinley of WCIA. "I have no idea. It's an ankle sprain. I have no...
Impact
Stojakovic missed Tuesday's 92-90 loss to Wisconsin due to the injury, and Underwood's response suggests the star guard could be in line to miss additional games as well. Stojakovic is averaging 13.7 points and 4.6 rebounds per game while shooting 49.2 percent from the floor, so if he has to miss additional time, it'd be a sensible loss for Illinois.

Stojakovic (undisclosed) didn't play in Tuesday's 92-90 loss to Wisconsin.

Illinois was limited to a seven-man rotation for this contest, and Stojakovic didn't see the court. His next chance to play will come against Indiana on Sunday, Feb. 15.

Andrej Stojakovic - Not in starting lineup
Stojakovic (undisclosed) isn't part of the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against Wisconsin, Joey Wagner of 247Sports.com reports.
Impact
Stojakovic was considered questionable leading up to Tuesday's game, and while he participated in warmups, he isn't part of the starting lineup. Stojakovic had started in each of the Fighting Illini's last 21 games. His absence from the first unit doesn't ensure Stojakovic is out, but it indicates he'll likely be limited, if available.

Kylan Boswell - Slated for doctor's visit this week
Boswell (hand) is slated for a doctor's appointment this week and has a shot to return Sunday, per Scott Richey of The Champaign News-Gazette.
Impact
Boswell was practicing without contact as of last week, and he appears to be trending closer and closer towards a return as he's slated for a doctor's visit this week after Illinois' clash with Wisconsin. There's a chance the guard, who's missed six straight games, could potentially return as early as Sunday against Indiana.

Andrej Stojakovic - Dressed for early warmups
Stojakovic (undisclosed) is suited up for Illinois' early warmups Tuesday night against Wisconsin, per Scott Richey of The Champaign News-Gazette.
Impact
Stojakovic is in danger of missing his first game since the opener, as he popped up on the Illini injury report as questionable ahead of a showdown with Wisconsin. The starting guard averages 13.7 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.1 assists this season; he'll be missed if he's indeed forced to sit out. Of course, his participation in early warmups is a good sign.

Andrej Stojakovic - Added to injury report
Stojakovic (undisclosed) is listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against Wisconsin.
Impact
It's unclear what's ailing Stojakovic, but the issue could prevent him from facing the Badgers on Tuesday. The standout junior is averaging 13.7 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.1 assists across 27.7 minutes per game this season. If he can't play Tuesday, Ben Humrichous could step into the starting lineup.
