Staicic's 3 lifts Campbell past Presbyterian, 75-72 in 2OT
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Milos Stajcic hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer and turned it into a four-point play to earn Campbell a 75-72 win over Presbyterian in double overtime in a first-round game of the Big South Conference tournament on Wednesday night.
Jordan Whitfield had 16 points to lead five Campbell players in double figures. Cedric Henderson Jr. added 15 points for the Fighting Camels. Jesus Carralero chipped in 14, Stajcic scored 11 and Austin McCullough had 10. Carralero also had 13 rebounds, eight assists and three blocks.
Presbyterian scored 19 points in the first half, a season low for the team.
Winston Hill had 20 points and nine rebounds for the Blue Hose (12-20). Rayshon Harrison added 18 points. Marquis Barnett had 17 points.
