Minix's 25 lead Morehead State past Chattanooga 87-80

MOREHEAD, Ky. (AP) — Riley Minix's 25 points helped Morehead State defeat Chattanooga 87-80 on Sunday night.

Minix also had 11 rebounds for the Eagles (6-3). Drew Thelwell scored 25 points and added five assists. Kalil Thomas was 5 of 8 shooting (4 for 7 from 3-point range) to finish with 16 points.

Jan Zidek led the way for the Mocs (5-3) with 19 points. Honor Huff added 17 points, six assists and two steals for Chattanooga. In addition, Sam Alexis finished with 12 points.
