Mason, Moore lead Missouri State past Evansville 66-60
EVANSVILLE, Ind. (AP) — Alston Mason scored 18 points and Chance Moore sealed the victory with a 3-pointer with 51 seconds left as Missouri State held off Evansville 66-60 on Sunday.
Mason added six assists and five rebounds for the Bears (14-12, 10-6 Missouri Valley Conference). Donovan Clay pitched in with 17 points and five rebounds. Moore hit three 3-pointers and scored 14.
Antoine Smith Jr. led the Purple Aces (5-22, 1-15) with 16 points and six rebounds. Marvin Coleman added 14 points. Kenny Strawbridge scored 10 points with two steals.
Clay had nine points in the first half for Missouri State, who led 30-27 at intermission. Moore scored 10 points in the second half for the Bears.

Both teams next play Wednesday. Missouri State visits Bradley and Evansville visits Belmont.
