Long scores 25, Fairfield defeats Marist 73-54
FAIRFIELD, Conn. (AP) — TJ Long scored 25 points to help Fairfield defeat Marist 73-54 on Friday night.
Long added three steals for the Stags (6-7, 2-1 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference). Supreme Cook added 15 points while shooting 4 of 7 from the field and 7 for 10 from the line, and he also had seven rebounds. Jake Wojcik shot 4 for 8, including 1 for 4 from beyond the arc to finish with nine points.
The Red Foxes (4-8, 0-3) were led by Isaiah Brickner's 15 points. Patrick Gardner added 13 points, while Stephane Ingo contributed eight points and 11 rebounds.

Fairfield next plays Sunday against Siena at home, and Marist will host Iona on Friday.
