Langley and Atwell score 17 points apiece as UNC Greensboro takes down Furman 79-68

GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) — Keyshaun Langley and Donovan Atwell scored 17 points apiece to lead UNC Greensboro to a 79-68 victory over Furman on Wednesday night in a Southern Conference opener.
Langley also had five assists for the Spartans (10-4, 1-0). Mikeal Brown-Jones shot 6 of 13 from the field and 4 for 5 from the line to finish with 16 points to go with 11 rebounds.
The Paladins (6-8, 0-1) were led in scoring by Carter Whitt, who finished with 23 points and six assists. Furman also got 19 points, six rebounds and three steals from Pjay Smith Jr. Cooper Bowser also had eight points, two steals and two blocks.
