The first causality of the Will Muschamp era at South Carolina appears it will be defensive lineman Jordan Smith, who decommitted from the Gamecocks Sunday.
Making matters worse for South Carolina and its new head coach, Smith will likely land at a divisional opponent come signing day:
Smith is rated as a four-star prospect according to 247Sports Composite ratings and has nearly every major program in the nation offering him a scholarship to play football for them. Smith took an official visit to Tennessee over the weekend and will take his next visit this weekend to Florida.
