Puig's mom tosses first pitch on his Bobblehead Night

Yasiel Puig gave his mom the ultimate Mother's Day gift on Tuesday.
Prior to the Dodgers facing the Marlins and just a couple days after the holiday, Puig gave his mom, Maritza Valdes Gonzalez, an opportunity to throw out the ceremonial first pitch on the same night his Bobblehead was handed out to fans.
As you can see, while her pitching style might be unorthodox, she tosses a pitch with some curve on it to her son at home plate.
After his mom threw out the pitch, Puig declared to the fans "It's time for Dodgers baseball. Let's go!"
Puig's mother, who resides in Miami, is a co-defendant with the Dodgers slugger in a federal lawsuit brought forth by Miguel Angel Corbacho Daudinot, who is currently in Cuba. Corbacho Daudinot alleges he was sentenced to seven years in a Cuban prison and subsequently tortured after Puig and his mother made false statements tying Corbacho Daudinot to human trafficking.
Puig went 2 for 3 with a run and an RBI double Tuesday as the Dodgers beat the Marlins 7-1.
