Unable to return SaturdayWilliams was unable to return to Saturday's game against Stanford after falling hard on his tailbone in the first half. He finished with two points (1-5 FG, 0-1 3PT), three assists...
ImpactWilliams apparently tried to test out his mobility before the second half to see if he could go back in but still was visibly in a lot of pain and ultimately was held out for the remainder of the game. The 6-5 junior has started all 11 games for the Cougars so far while averaging 12.1 points, 3.7 rebounds, two assists and 1.3 steals in 28.2 minutes per game. It's unclear how long of an absence Williams could face, but with his early departure and Ryan Rapp (undisclosed) also missing the game, TJ Mamba saw a career-high 22 minutes and could potentially even see a start if both his teammates can't return next game.
