WWE shows off football helmets inspired by its Superstars

Super Bowl Sunday provides the WWE with a great opportunity to show off some of its creativity.

The sports entertainment juggernaut had Chris Dillon design football helmets to mirror some of its top characters.

The Death Valley Reapers for The Undertaker? Tampa Bay Unicorns for the The New Day? South Dakota Beasts for Brock Lesnar?

Plenty of pro wrestlers have football backgrounds. The Rock played at Miami (Fla).

And, in fact, one of WCW's performers, Kevin Greene, was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday.

Of course, the WWE did have a one-year run at football with the XFL.
